After an exhausting lockdown, Bali is ready for a new chapter, to welcome guests. There are still restrictions for those who dream to travel to the island of gods, but we would like to update you and make sure your journey is as stress free as possible. The best way to travel to Indonesia now is on business e-visa B211.
What kind of visa is this?
Single-entry business e-visa B211 is valid for 60 days and can be extended 4-times for 30 days each time. Once the E-Visa is issued, you have 90 days to activate and enter Indonesia with this visa. The day of arrival is the first day of validity of the visa.
Update 14 October 2021:
“Immigration expanded the type of purposes for visa B211. Now you can get a visa B211a to Indonesia for tourism and filmmaking.
In addition, you can get permission from the competent authority to carry out activities of making commercial films with a visa C312.
Those who are going to come to Indonesia for education can get an offshore visa index C316 again.”
What you need to be able to travel on B211 visa?

-Health Insurance or Travel Insurance
-A ticket from Indonesia (after 60 days or earlier, it can be asked by your airline at check-in). Note: please, only buy tickets after your visa is confirmed!
IMPORTANT (!) You have to download *Peduli Lindungi* application, registered there, fill out the EHAC form, and verified your vaccination certificate (the process can take a few days). The health department will scan your EHAC barcode when you arrive.
How long will take the entire visa process through an agency?
It takes *7-8 business days*, The agency would need a photo of your passport (valid for a minimum of 7 months), a Vaccine Certificate (full vaccination), and a payment.
Quarantine: The latest news is that travellers are able to quarantine in Bali, which is obviously so much better! But at the moment there is still no confirmed date for Ngurah Rai Airport opening to international flights.
It is necessary to know that quarantine is obligatory in the port of entry, so if you landing in Jakarta first, you must to quarantine there. You can only quarantine in Bali if your flight is direct to Bali.
You will need to quarantine for 4-nights/5-days at your own expense and do 2 more PCR tests (on the first and last day of your quarantine). A list of hotels can be provided upon request. We strongly recommend checking the conditions of quarantine at the hotel before booking.
Here is the detailed Quarantine procedure upon arrival to Indonesia:
The first PCR will be conducted at the Airport based on Ministry of Transportation regulation, coordinated by Angkasa Pura with the below details:
✔️ 1st PCR will be inside the Airport, and it is conducted by 8 appointed labs (rotated). Results will be ready within 1-2 hours, the price at Rp 695,000 nett. Invoices will be billed to the Quarantine Hotel to pay directly to those labs.
✔️ PCR 2 remain the same, at the Hotel and price Rp 495,000 nett per PCR
✔️ Guests will wait at the Airport until PCR results come out. If the results are negative, guests will continue with the arrival process. If the results are positive, guests will be allocated to the special hotel for isolation.
✔️ If 1st PCR result is positive, the bill will be charged directly to the isolation hotel
✔️ Room reservation for Guest who has positive result should be cancelled from the quarantine hotel.
There will be a sitting area, waiting for PCR results inside the airport
Airport Representative and Hotel in charge will be on standby inside the Airport.
Please always check the current entry rules before departure because they can be changed at any moment.
